LG Display is a supplier of display panels for Apple products. In fact, the company has made predictions in this regard before. At that time, the company said it would invest heavily in OLED panels in 2019 at a time when demand for smartphones and technology products was generally weak.
The Korean display panel manufacturer said in a statement that it would continue to improve its leading position in the OLED TV market.
In order to cope with the competition from Chinese LCD panel manufacturers, LG Display's display panel production technology is being transformed from the main production of LCD panels to the production of the next generation of OLED panels.
